1 Corinthians 11:9

Neither was the man created for the woman; but the woman for the man.

Translations

Neither was man created on account of {or} for the benefit of woman, but woman on account of {and} for the benefit of man.

for neither was the man created for the woman; but the woman for the man:

And the man was not made for the woman, but the woman for the man.

For also man was not created for the sake of the woman, but woman for the sake of the man.
