Note that the best of men still need to be warned against the worst of sins. Anyone can fall.
We need to make sure we don't confuse suffering because of sin with suffering for Christ. There is little comfort in sufferings when we cause them by sin. It is not the suffering, but the cause, that makes the martyr.
