2 Kings 23:2 - Additional Comments

Josiah was educated, for he knew how to read. It is interesting that he read the book, rather than having a priest or prophet read it.
There must have been a huge thirst being quenched when God's word was read, and apparently it had not been read in Judah for a long time.
Would we miss God's word if we did not hear it for a long time? Would you even notice?
