Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace;

Not only, by His death, did he remove the religious wall, but He removed the enmity, the wall of disdain the Jew and non-Jew had for each other. In Christ Jew and Gentile are one, which makes peace.
We need to examine any areas of enmity we may have towards others, whether from personality, appearance, money, religious, denomination, culture, race, sex, etc. Are there those in the church who you hesitate to associate with? At work, in the neighborhood, at the stores, etc.? God would love for all people to be one, as He is one with Jesus (John 17:11, 21).
