Then Zipporah took a sharp stone, and cut off the foreskin of her son, and cast it at his feet, and said, Surely a bloody husband art thou to me.

Exodus 4:25 - Additional Comments

Zipporah had probably refused to allow her son to be circumcised. She may have now realized the power of God, and Moses plight. Seeing she had no choice, she circumcised her son in anger. Moses had brought this blood to her just by the fact he was a Hebrew, which required circumcision.
Note also that here is an example of where NOT doing something is sin. Is there something God has been asking you to do that you are not doing?
