Galatians 3:27 - Additional Comments

The assumption here is all those who have put on Christ (i.e. are Christians) have been baptized. Rom 6:4-6 and Col 2:12 makes the same assumption.
But what does it mean to "put on Christ"? Rom 13:14 says it means to make no room for wrong desires. Gal 5:19-24 contrasts the deeds of the flesh with the deeds of the Spirit.
When you put on clothing, it identifies who you are, but it also covers you. Practically, it refers to what captures your thoughts and actions - are you captured by the desires of the world, or the things of Christ? How can you tell? Again, see Gal 5:19-24, and take note which closer describes you. But it is not merely the deeds, but also what are your passions, and what do you think about.
As you read that passage, say "the works of ", then "the fruit of ". Which seems more accurate?
Romans 6:4 - we have died to sin, to walk in the new way of life.
