Hosea 4:3

Therefore shall the land mourn, and every one that dwelleth therein shall languish, with the beasts of the field, and with the fowls of heaven; yea, the fishes of the sea also shall be taken away.

What is the result of this extreme lack of relationship and obedience to God? It not only affects all who live there (they will waste away), but also the land and all it contains. Everything around gets affected by a lack of lack of relationship and obedience to God. Don't ever think that there is no consequence to sins, that you can get away with them. It may not be immediately obvious, or you may think you've escaped, but even your land will be affected by it.
