Isaiah 43:2

When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee.

Isaiah 43:2 - Additional Comments

This is not a statement that you can never be harmed by water or fire. This is saying God has power of water and fire, so that you are not to fear them. If would be a simple thing for God to perform these tasks if they fit into his plan (see verse 1).
