Jeremiah 6:17

Also I set watchmen over you, saying, Hearken to the sound of the trumpet. But they said, We will not hearken.

Translations

Also I set watchmen over you, saying, Hear {and} obey the sound of the trumpet! But they said, We will not listen {or} obey.

And I set watchmen over you, saying, Hearken to the sound of the trumpet; but they said, We will not hearken.

And I put watchmen over you, saying, Give attention to the sound of the horn; but they said, We will not give attention.

Also I have set watchmen over you: -- Hearken ye to the sound of the trumpet. But they said, We will not hearken.

I set watchmen over you, saying, "Pay attention to the sound of the trumpet!" But they said, "We will not pay attention."

Also I set watchmen over you, saying, Hearken to the sound of the trumpet. But they said, We will not hearken.

Y puse centinelas sobre vosotros, que dijeran:
"Escuchad el sonido de la trompeta."
Pero dijeron: "No escucharemos."

"And I set watchmen over you, {saying,} `Listen to the sound of the trumpet!' But they said, `We will not listen.'

Entonces puse centinelas sobre ustedes, que dijeran:
'Escuchen el sonido de la trompeta.'
Pero dijeron: 'No escucharemos.'

I set watchmen over you, [saying], Listen to the sound of the trumpet; but they said, We will not listen.

And I have raised up for you watchmen, Attend ye to the voice of the trumpet. And they say, `We do not attend.`
