God will meet the doubt of a person honestly looking, but not the doubt without honestly seeking.
o Many people say intellectually they can't believe the Bible. But, most people won't believe the Bible because it makes them morally accountable.
o It's not a matter of the intellect, but a matter of the heart (i.e. the will).
The resurrection of Jesus is the final and compelling proof that He is the Son of God and the Savior of the world. Having become convinced of the resurrected Christ, the disciples never again ceased to proclaim it. They had seen the many miracles of Jesus, but the resurrection put everything together for them, so there was no more doubt. Not just doubt about His power, but doubt about who He is.
This supposedly confirmed to Thomas that this was the same body of Jesus that was buried, by feeling the scars, yet it could not be, for through miraculous healing the failed organs inside of Jesus were restored to working, functioning (non-damaged) form.
