Luke 10:42

Note that Mary did not jump up in her own defense. This is another example of how we are to react when others condemn us. There is a time to stand up for ourselves, but most certainly there are many times we are not to (and yet we become misplaced and do it anyway). If possible, let God speak for us! Not directly, but by His word.
Jesus praised Mary for her wisdom, in choosing to worship Him. May we hear the same thing, praise from God for our choices for Him.
