Mark 15:2 - Additional Comments

Pilate was asking if Jesus was claiming to be a king. Jesus was a king, but not at all how Pilate viewed kings. Pilate must have chuckled when Jesus said this, thinking that Jesus was not mentally stable, as when someone nowadays might claim to be Batman. Pilate may not have cared, except for the fact that Jesus had a huge following, and could actually be a dangerous political threat.
