Mark 4:39 - Additional Comments
Jesus rebuked, admonished, the wind. He told the wind what it was doing wrong, that it should not be doing?
In the same way that God created the seas with a word, Jesus calmed the storms with a word. What are words, that they can affect anything physical? Yet, there is power in the words of Jesus. "For the word of God is living and powerful" - Hebrews 4:12.
And, oh, it was not just a subsiding of the storm -- there was a GREAT calm, a hush, a quietness. The same extraordinary peace is the same peace that He miraculously places in us.
