Matthew 26:56 - Additional Comments

Every disciple fled. What would have happened to any disciple who did not flee? Would they have been arrested with Jesus?
Rev 2:8-11 addresses the church in Smyrna, and tells that they would be arrested. In Smyrna, being a Christian was illegal. Yet they still had a church somehow! If Christianity was illegal in America, what would it be like? What would you do? Would you flee, or stay put?
See notes on Matthew 1:22.
