Matthew 6:4 - Additional Comments

The goal is to be a giver, to do for others. You take away from what you are giving to others if you are doing it for selfish reasons. Getting any glory (even a thank you) takes away the focus from the other person. The paradox is that the more you truly seek to avoid any reward for yourself (and God knows your heart!), the more reward you get!
