Solomon is not writing specifically to one of his sons, but to those in general to those who would listen, he speaks as a father to a son.
Even though he does not say this wisdom is from God, or "Thus saith the Lord", we know it is, for this wisdom was given to Solomon by God (1 Kings 3:5-14).
