Presumptuous sins are sins committed as bold, audacious, arrogant, as to do without justification. The word identifies acts done in domineering, haughty insolence with a scornful, contemptuous disdain for respect, convention, and even law. Presumptuous sins are willful sins, ones we do knowing that they are sin before we commit them.
These can have dominion of a person - they take control, taking away all will to fight them. The psalmist begs God to keep him away from these sins, because they are great transgressions.
These are the worst of sins (i.e. great transgressions), for they don't come accidentally, but purposefully. These have the potential for so much more havoc and destruction in our lives
