When we are being oppressed, for any reason, God is there. Sometimes, like in the midst of the concentration camp, and in the midst of your struggles, it doesn't seem like it, but He is. May we realize that it is not easy, but God is still there. Having troubles in life does not take away the reality of who He is, And, it does not take away His extreme love and care for you, even though you may not feel it. If only we could see life through God's eyes, we might get a better perspective on troubles. God tells us to rejoice always (1 Thess 5:16) - there are reasons, yet we may not know them.
Again, it is not easy, but this is what God wants in us.
It is okay to pray for God to intervene, to have extra mercy on us (vs 13).
