(Regarding verses 2:17-23) Pay attention to what you teach. If you challenge your class to do or be something, you must be the first to take that challenge. You not only teach them, but show them.
But the fact is, we are asked to teach others in such a way so that they can teach others (2 Tim 2:2). What this means is that God really wants us to raise the level of our living and obedience so that we are not hypocritical when we teach others.
