Obviously the first children that Adam and Eve had were Cain and Abel (Gen. 4:1-2). However, these were not all of the children that Adam and Eve had.
This is the book of the generations of Adam. In the day that God created man, in the likeness of God made he him; Male and female created he them; and blessed them, and called their name Adam, in the day when they were created. And Adam lived an hundred and thirty years, and begat a son in his own likeness, after his image; and called his name Seth. Genesis 5:12
This is the son to take the place of Abel who was killed by Cain. The genealogy does not list any girls, only men, i.e., “the book of the generations of Adam.” I think in this book that Adam wrote, he only kept the names of male children. However, he had other children, and one of the girls that Adam and Eve had was married to Cain.
