Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand;

This is a declaration of what the gospel is, that Paul has been preaching to them. They received it, and this gospel is their foundation.
What is this gospel?
(2) it saves you
(2) it requires belief
(3) Christ died for our sins (as the Scriptures predicted)
(4) Christ was buried
(4) Christ came alive again (as the Scriptures predicted)
