1 Corinthians 15:5 - Additional Comments

What a special treat for Peter to have been one of the first witnesses of Jesus after his ascension. This was only 2 days after his denial. What pain Peter must have gone through over the past 2 days until he saw Jesus again. Jesus, by appearing so soon to Peter, was telling Peter it's okay, I forgive you. Peter responded with tremendous love for Jesus, as was shown by his anxiousness to be with Jesus when Peter was out on the fishing boat (John 21:7).
