1 Kings 3:14 - Additional Comments
Solomon, given such an incredible start to his reign, fell into many things God was not pleased with. He started in much the same way David did, whom God described as "a man after my own heart" (1 Sam 13:14). Despite the heart he started with, he did not finish strong. How can we ensure we will continue in God's will, and finish strong? How can we ensure we will not fade away or fall away? I believe it boils down to spending quality time with God, regularly. And having others in your life to keep you on track.
