This was the desire of Solomon's heart, and God gave him the desire of his heart and more so. See Psalm 37:4. Notice the condition on getting our desires -- that we delight ourselves in the Lord.
By the way, don't try to trick God. Don't ask for the things God wants and secretly want great blessings because of it, thinking you are tricking God. God knows your heart. You cannot deceive God.
