2 Corinthians 11:22 - Additional Comments
How much do you care for other people? Do you have a love for them? Do people in general bother you, or do you have compassion in general for them?
In verses 22-33, Paul describes what he has gone through as a Christian. He was willing to be whatever (Hebrew, Israelite, seed of Abraham, minister of Christ). He was willing to do whatever (in weariness and toil, in sleeplessness, in hunger and thirst, in fastings, in cold and nakedness, shipwrecked, long journeys). He was willing to put up with whatever (39 stripes, beaten with rods, stones, many perils, arrests). Why? See vs 28 - out of his daily, deep concern for other Christians, for the churches.. He was complelled out of a deep concern for them. We need to pray to have this same concern for others. We are all to be ministers of Christ, and it's a burden unless we have such concern for them.
