For in this we groan, earnestly desiring to be clothed upon with our house which is from heaven:

What a different view of death. Non-Christians generally fear death, but Christians groan for it, i.e. have a burden, a heavy load to be lifted (also vs 4). This life is a heavy load, especially compared to the life to come.
