Go ye, enquire of the LORD for me, and for the people, and for all Judah, concerning the words of this book that is found: for great is the wrath of the LORD that is kindled against us, because our fathers have not hearkened unto the words of this book, to do according unto all that which is written concerning us.

Wow, Josiah feared God! He knew they deserved the wrath of God. How different from Manasseh! Do you fear the wrath of God? I do!
The funny thing is we should obey because it is right, and to honor God, and to honor others, not because of fear of the consequences.
The great thing is when we turn our hearts towards God, truly repent, and determine to better follow Him, God will listen and will respond to that (vss 18-20).
