2 Kings 6:6 - Additional Comments

Even prophets did not know everything - they only knew what God revealed to them for a purpose. Remember that God orchestrates events in your life for the best for us, even though it's hard to see sometimes.
God designed the laws of nature. The laws of nature only work as long as God lets them work in the natural methods that He designed. What would it take to get an ax head to float? Why did the ax head not float until Elisha threw the stick in there? The amusing things is how people try to explain what happened through some means of science, within the normal laws of nature. No, this was a miracle, outside of the laws of nature. An ax made of iron floated on water. God, in that small area of the ax head and the water, violated the laws of nature by a miracle.
God can alter the laws of nature because he created the laws of nature. Therefore truly nothing is beyond God's ability in this world.
