2 Peter 3:10

But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.

Atheists and evolutionists believe in the "big bang" at the beginning of time. Here in this verse is God's "big bang" at the end of time.
Consider the greatest accomplishments by man (see these examples below). Consider that it will all disappear in fire. They will be dissolved (vss 10-12).
- Medicine
- Transportation- pathways and vehicles
- Harnessing electricity
- Books, schools, education (compare to "Fahrenheit 451")
- Continued scientific understanding of the world around us, including astronomy, geology, quantum mechanics, physics, etc.
- Harnessing the airwaves for radio, TV, mobile phones, etc.
- Entertainment, including sports, movies, vacations, etc.
- Art, in all its forms, including music
- Buildings, cities, skyscrapers
- Technology, including computers
