2 Peter 3:17

Ye therefore, beloved, seeing ye know these things before, beware lest ye also, being led away with the error of the wicked, fall from your own stedfastness.

Again, as in vs 3:1, Peter calls them beloved. It's okay to regularly say "I love you", as compared to the man who told his wife he loves her on the day they married and never feels a need to say it again, for he is a man of his word.
What is it you know? You know the truth, so deceivers won't deceive you. All the more reason to dig more into the truth (and so "grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ" - vs 18), so subtle deceptions won't sway you, and you fall away.
