2 Samuel 12:5

And David's anger was greatly kindled against the man; and he said to Nathan, As the LORD liveth, the man that hath done this thing shall surely die:

So often we see sin and are repulsed by it, yet we so easily miss what sin is in our own life. David was repulsed at this person's sin, despite the sin in his own life.
It is so easy to hate the sin another commits, but to ignore our own sin. We need to hate any sin in our life.
