2 Samuel 12:9 - Additional Comments

God said David killed Uriah with the sword. David did not physically do it. If you manipulate circumstances for evil, you are still responsible for the results as if you had done the deed.
Despite David's tremendous failure here, God still wound up using David in great ways, and still viewed David as a man after His heart - Acts 13:22. And God allowed David's offspring to produce the Messiah - Acts 13:23. God can pick up the pieces in any broken life and do great things with it once your heart is turned towards Him (12:13). Turn away from sin, and allow God's rich blessings to flow in your life. No matter what the sin, God can, wants to, and will do great things if you turn your clean heart towards Him. Repent (1 John 1:9), clean it up, and get on the right track with Him. He will remove our sins, no matter what they are, far from us (Psalm 103:12).
