2 Thessalonians 2:14 - Additional Comments
You were "chosen", you were "called", so you can obtain the glory of Jesus. Here is an analogy, albeit not perfect. When choosing sides for a sports team, if one captain asks who wishes to be on my team? He has "called" those who would join him. Given permission, he "chooses" those who raise their hands. If they did not raise their hands, they would not be chosen.
This analogy does not address predetermination. Romans 8:30 - "whom He predestined, these He also called".
What is the "glory of the Lord Jesus Christ"? To be with Him in His glory for eternity.
