Acts 19:29

And the whole city was filled with confusion: and having caught Gaius and Aristarchus, men of Macedonia, Paul's companions in travel, they rushed with one accord into the theatre.

The amphitheater could hold around 25, 000 people.
Gaius was from Derbe, and was one of the few people that Paul personally had baptized (1 Cor 1:14-16).
Aristarchus was a native of Thessalonica.
Both Gaius and Aristarchus later travelled with Paul (20:3-4, 27:1-2).
