Amos 3:2 - Additional Comments

We see in chapters 1 and 2 that God requires obedience from all nations and all peoples, and if that doesn't happen, then He requires justice.
God said He would punish the Israelites for their sins.
Does God judge and punish / reward Christians? Yes -- Matt 7:1, Rom 2:3, 14:3, 1 Cor 4:4, James 3:1, Psa 18:25-27, James 2:13, Mat 5:11-12, Matt 6:1-6, 10:41-42, 16:27. God expects more from Israel, and He expects more from Christians. God is tougher on His children... but the alternative is not being His child, and having NO fellowship with Him!
