After all Israel's disobedience and the judgments against them, God does promise that at some point they will be restored (Amos 9:13-15).
If you have a damaged or broken relationship with God, how can it be restored?
1. Acknowledge there has been separation, a broken relationship with God.
- You cannot get restoration unless you acknowledge there is a problem.
2. Make a decision for restoration.
- You may know there is a problem, but not care about it. You need to acknowledge you need restoration.
3. Evaluate where there is sin.
- You would not have a broken relationship with God unless sin was involved.
4. Spend time in confession.
- Resolution cannot happen unless there is true repentance and brokenness.
5. Plan steps for restoration.
- What do you need to do to be successful on an ongoing basis?
6. Consider the need for others to be involved in the restoration.
- Nothing works like counsel and accountability.
7. Live rich with God.
- The end result of a restored relationship is a rich relationship with God.

- Answered prayers (John 15:7)
- Relief from fear (Isaiah 41:10)
- Relief from worry (Matt 6:25-34)
