Ephesians 5:29 - La Biblia de las Americas

Ephesians 5:29 - The Message

No one abuses his own body, does he? No, he feeds and pampers it. That’s how Christ treats us, the church, since we are part of his body. And this is why a man leaves father and mother and cherishes his wife. No longer two, they become "one flesh." This is a huge mystery, and I don’t pretend to understand it all. What is clearest to me is the way Christ treats the church. And this provides a good picture of how each husband is to treat his wife, loving himself in loving her, and how each wife is to honor her husband.

Ephesians 5:29 - New American Standard Bible

for no one ever hated his own flesh, but nourishes and cherishes it, just as Christ also {does} the church,

Ephesians 5:29 - Nueva Biblia Latinoamericana de Hoy

Porque nadie aborreciò jamás su propio cuerpo, sino que lo sustenta y lo cuida, asì como también Cristo a la iglesia;

Ephesians 5:29 - World English Bible

For no man ever hated his own flesh; but nourishes and cherishes it, even as Christ also the assembly;

Ephesians 5:29 - Young's Living Translation

for no one ever his own flesh did hate, but doth nourish and cherish it, as also the Lord -- the assembly,
