Don't join in the acts and speech of those who have false words (as compared to speaking the truth in the Spirit - verse 9).
Compare God's reaction to the 2 types of speech:
- false, empty speech, receives God's wrath (verse 6)
- truth, Godly speech, is acceptable to God (verses 8-10).
