Exodus 4:14 - Additional Comments
God tried to tell Moses that it was not Moses, but God's power that would do the work. Moses complained, so God became angry. Lesson - do what God asks - don't anger Him!
Aaron was still back in Egypt, and Moses had not seen him in 40 years. Yet Aaron came to find him (at God's call - 4:27), of course, at the perfect time. Aaron did not become God's spokesperson, but he was in place to give Moses the confidence.
We must remember that Moses became the great leader because of God. Look at where he started, and where he wound up. This should give every Christian confidence that God can use them beyond our abilities and expectations. We just have to allow Him to work through us.
