Galatians 2:21

I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain.

What a bold statement. Christ came because all men fall far short of living up to the law. That is why we cannot live to obey the law, but we need to live for God. He must be our focus, not the law.
