Galatians 6:9 - Additional Comments

You may feel like Jay Carsey, the man whose life is described in "Exit the Rainmaker", who walked away from his life because he couldn't take being fake, couldn't take the burdens of endless pressures and responsibilities. One day he simply left. But interestingly, when a group of his friends were sitting around talking about his disappearance, one of the men said "You know, fellas, I was just thinking, if only Jay had chartered a plane, we all could have gone." Even though he left and started a new life, Jay still didn't find the peace and contentment he was looking for.
One year in Promise Keepers, the speaker had a simple message - "Never Give Up". What this means is do the right things, and never give up doing them. Jay Carsey had never found success in life, the peace that comes through knowing Jesus Christ. Now that we have found it, it is still work. But Never Give Up, for we will reap the great benefits.
