Genesis 41:1 - Additional Comments

God gave Pharaoh this dream. How does God do that? The interesting thing is He did. This shows how He can through His Spirit can give us thoughts or inclinations about His will and His wishes for our us.
What if Pharaoh had not paid attention? How often does God speak to us and we don't listen?
When is it easier to have conversation with your wife, in a quiet restaurant, or during an eventful football game? Can you listen to her in both settings? But when do you hear her more clearly? Do you give God the opportunity to talk to you in quiet settings, or do you only give Him chances in active noisy settings? (Noise may be simply other distractions.)
Also, what distinguishes whether God comes in loud and clear or is so muffled that He cannot be heard? The better your relationship with Him, the clearer His voice. The more distant, the more your heart is hardened, the less likely you are to hear His voice.
Has God been actively trying to get your attention, and you haven't been paying attention, or you do hear but you ignore it? What is the cost of ignoring it?
