Genesis 45:9 - Additional Comments

Why did Joseph tell his brothers what to say? One likely reason was so they did not tell Jacob about what they had done to Joseph 13 years before when they sold Joseph into slavery. As part of his total forgiveness, he wantedhis brothers to save face with their father.
