Hebrews 10:19 - Additional Comments

A veil divided the Holy place from the Holy of Holies. This is where the glory of God dwelt. The veil was the final door to pass through to enter the presence of God. Only the High Priest entered the Holy of Holies once a year on the Day of Atonement, when he brought the blood sacrifice to remove the sins of the people and himself. The people would wait for him to come outside so they can hear from God.
The veil reminds us that we all fall short of the glory of God (Rom.3:23).
We are invited to enter into His presence. It is by the blood of Jesus that we can now enter the Holiest. Jesus replaced the veil of the temple with His flesh (vs 20).
