Isaiah 6:13

But yet in it shall be a tenth, and it shall return, and shall be eaten: as a teil tree, and as an oak, whose substance is in them, when they cast their leaves: so the holy seed shall be the substance thereof.

Isaiah 6:13 - Additional Comments

The Jewish nation was saved from complete ruin because out of it, Christ was to come (Rom 9:5). It was not to be destroyed, for the blessing that was in it (Isa 65:8). This may have been spoken to Isaiah to encourage him, knowing that the nation was not to go into complete ruin. Ministers of God are to be encouraged, even if their labors are to save one poor soul.
