Brethren, if any of you do err from the truth, and one convert him;

(Verses 19-20) Probably nothing pleases God more than turning "a sinner from the error of his way". The implication here is that the more we honor God by working with others to come to Him, the more He works to lessen the consequence of sin in our life. Of course, that is no freedom to sin, because as soon as you have that perspective, you've lost the benefit. This is just saying as you work with others to draw close to Him, God will honor you in your life.
