Jeremiah 20:12

But, O LORD of hosts, that triest the righteous, and seest the reins and the heart, let me see thy vengeance on them: for unto thee have I opened my cause.

Jeremiah 20:12 - Additional Comments

They seek vengeance on Jeremiah, but he wishes for vengeance on them. Certainly it's understandable him feeling this way, for all that they have done to him. Jeremiah has even pleaded with God to support him, to pay them back.
Interesting that Jeremiah is basically stating that he has maintained a clean heart in all this, otherwise he would not expect God to support him.
