Jeremiah 35:2

Go unto the house of the Rechabites, and speak unto them, and bring them into the house of the LORD, into one of the chambers, and give them wine to drink.

Jeremiah 35:2 - Additional Comments

The Rechabites were originally Kenites - 1 Chr 2:55. The Kenites, those of them that gained a settlement in the land of Israel, were descendents of Hobab, Moses's father-in-law - Num 10:29, Judges 1:16.
Note that God certainly knew of their Nazarite oath, yet He still asked Jeremiah to present wine before him. This reminds me of Job, how God allowed a spiritual challenge to be placed before them. And they made the right choice. God may have done this to show Israel that they have been given a choice, and they need to make the right decision.
