Jeremiah 9:10

King James Version (KJV)

For the mountains will I take up a weeping and wailing, and for the habitations of the wilderness a lamentation, because they are burned up, so that none can pass through them; neither can men hear the voice of the cattle; both the fowl of the heavens and the beast are fled; they are gone.

Alzad (Asì en la versiòn gr. (Sept.); en el T.M., Alzaré) por los montes lloro y lamentaciòn,
y una elegìa por los pastos del desierto,
porque han sido desolados; nadie pasa por ellos,
ni se oye el bramido del ganado;
desde las aves del cielo hasta las bestias han huido, se han ido.

Jeremiah 9:10 - The Message

"I’m lamenting the loss of the mountain pastures.
   I’m chanting dirges for the old grazing grounds.
They’ve become deserted wastelands too dangerous for travelers.
   No sounds of sheep bleating or cattle mooing.
Birds and wild animals, all gone.
   Nothing stirring, no sounds of life.
I’m going to make Jerusalem a pile of rubble,
   fit for nothing but stray cats and dogs.
I’m going to reduce Judah’s towns to piles of ruins
   where no one lives!"

Jeremiah 9:10 - New American Standard Bible

"For the mountains I will take up a weeping and wailing, And for the pastures of the wilderness a dirge, Because they are laid waste so that no one passes through, And the lowing of the cattle is not heard; Both the birds of the sky and the beasts have fled; they are gone.

Jeremiah 9:10 - Nueva Biblia Latinoamericana de Hoy

Porque han sido desolados; nadie pasa por ellos,
Ni se oye el bramido del ganado;

Jeremiah 9:10 - World English Bible
