John 10:11 - Additional Comments

This is how devoted our Shepherd is, that He will give His life for His sheep. None others who say they have our best interest can give as Jesus gave. It is His love for His sheep, and it is His choice to give His life (verse 18) The others cannot care as Jesus cares. It is only Jesus has fully and completely has our best interests in mind. The rest are mere hirelings, who run at trouble, and would no longer take care of or protect us (verses 11-13).
